NO INTEREST LOAN SCHEME
The No Interest Loan Scheme offers people on low incomes safe, fair and affordable loans for fridges, washing machines, furniture, computers as well as sports/educational, medical expenses and more.
Payment plans are flexible and customised to applicants’ financial circumstances. A budget will be completed to ensure repayments are affordable.
Eligibility Requirements:

Have a Health Care/Pension Card or earn less than $45,000 (after tax)

Show a willingness and capacity to repay
Documentation Required:

Completed NILS Application Form (download here)

Recent Centrelink Income Statement/pay slips (yourself and your partner)
-
Recent bank statement or transactions for the past 90 days (yourself and partner)

Rental ledger/statement/mortgage statement showing recent rent/repayments
-
Council rates, strata bills if home-owner
-
Quotes for goods or services
-
Details/statements of any credit commitments such as loans, credit cards, fines, rent to buy etc

Copies of most recent energy, water, phone bills
-
Proof of identity (must include one photo ID, ie Driver’s License, Passport etc)

Alternate contact person details (name, email and phone)

Details of household expenditure eg groceries, rates, car running costs etc
