The primary target of HCA's Emergency Relief program is to provide a safety net for families and individuals experiencing financial distress or hardship and have limited means or resources to help them alleviate their financial crisis.
Depending on individual circumstances the assistance we are able to provide for those in financial crisis includes food/petrol vouchers, medications, help with utility bills (electricity, gas, water and Telstra), referral to other agencies.
Our assistance is based on individual assessment.
Appointments can be made from 9:30am for the following locations:
Experiencing financial difficulties such as food, travel, medications or paying utility bills (please note we are unable to assist with rent, mortgage or debt consolidations)
Live in Parramatta, Hills, Blacktown, Hawkesbury areas
Centrelink Income Statement or proof of application or
Payslips/bank statements providing evidence of low income or financial difficulties (if applicable)
A full copy of Energy or Telstra bills if you require assistance with these (not reminder notices).
Bill from Sydney Water & letter/statement from Real Estate, if you are renting, is required for us to be able to assist through Sydney Water Payment Assistance Scheme (PAS). Please note, we are unable to assist with water bills if you are a public housing client.
Scripts for medication
