Hills Community Aid provides a range of support programs for Women who are walking the journey of domestic Violence. These programs aim to provide a safe, supportive and holistic opportunity for women to grow and develop while creating links within the community.
Please note all the services below are for women who have experienced or are experiencing domestic violence. Hills Community Aid will require all participants to complete a registration form to participate in the programs.

The programs we offer include:
Moving Forward is a program that provides educational information while strengthening and empowering women who have walked the journey of domestic violence. Moving Forward covers a range of topics including healthy relationships, financial literacy, work and study options, accessing benefits, my rights and self-care.
Employability Skills Program
Our employability skills program is provided with a Registered Training Office (RTO) which enables women to access supported training to increase their opportunities to enter back into the workforce. Hills Community Aid also provides support in discussing ways to locate available jobs and the process of applying, workplaces skills such as communications, boundaries and self-care, as well as linking clients in with other support services when needed.
Hills Community Aid in partnership with Wesley Mission can provide financial literacy workshops that provide support, information and empowerment about budgeting, loans and managing your money.
Empowering You! Is a one day workshop that will provide the opportunity for participants to move past patterns and beliefs that get in the way of living a happy and fulfilling life.
During the workshop participants will develop strategies to help build confidence and become more empowered.
This program was developed and facilitated by Wende Jowsey MA, Ed. Wende brings three decades of facilitation experience working with women in ways that are compassionate and inspiring. She is the author of Mother Grief: A Daughter's Journey from Sorrow to Selfhood and is an internationally known teacher and speaker.
Hills Community Aid provides a range of support groups for women that give a safe space for women to connect and offer each other support.
