Creating safe, healthy, connected and inclusive communities.
We deliver a range of social, financial and educational programs that assist, strengthen and connect all communities
This is achieved by:
Identifying gaps in services for the disadvantaged in the community;
Implementing programs to reduce disadvantage;
Seeking financial support from governments, relevant agencies and businesses;
Working cooperatively with other agencies
Our Core Values
The Hills Community Aid is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1969 after lobbying by a local social worker, Mary Lane. Mary herself was a young mother living in the Hills Shire, who identified a lack of services for mothers needing support. Through Mary's determination and support from Baulkham Hills Shire Council and local church groups, Hill Community Aid was created. HCA humble beginning as an independent provider of community services, and operating programs such as Meals on Wheels, emergency child minding services and taking elderly people shopping. Today, Hills Community Aid, overseen by a volunteer Board of Governance, continues to be an independent provider of community service to residents of Baulkham Hills and adjoining communities.
