The Hills Community Aid and Information Service Inc. is a not for profit, non government, non sectarian community organisation based at Baulkham Hills near the local Centrelink office and transport for  the convenience and easy access for the local community.

The Hills Community Aid and Information Service Inc. has been providing services in the Baulkham Hills and surrounding local government areas since 1969.  Currently The Hills Community Aid and Information Service Inc. provides an information & referral service, an emergency relief program, administers the North West No Interest Loans Scheme, Tax Assistance for low income earners, home visiting and phone contact programs for people who are housebound, an adult education facility – Learning in the Hills, has a community bus for hire and coordinates a range of community development projects.

The Hills Community Aid and Information Service Inc. has a range of  opportunities for volunteers such as reception and other office work, bus driving and tutoring for Learning in the Hills.  Volunteer training courses are held throughout the year and provide information on volunteering opportunities with other organisations/agencies.

The Hills Community Aid and Information Service Inc.  is a lead agency with a range of activities including the Hills Cultural Festival and celebration events of Harmony Day and Chinese New Year.

The Hills Community Aid and Information Service Inc. works in partnership and has a close working relationship with other organisations including the Migrant Resource Centre, Hills Community Health, Centrelink, Hills Shire Council, youth services, family support services and other community based organisations.
